For the 4th consecutive year, the Mill of Performing Arts festival organises the special section MPArt.OS (Mill of Performing Arts on Screen) with a series of short film screenings that reflect the contemporary, global trends in the hybrid genre of cinema and performing arts.
Following an international call to which 153 filmmakers from 34 countries from all continents responded, 30 short films that bring the performing arts to the screen were selected.
This year, for the fourth time, the festival will award selected films with the “Editors’ Choice” and “Audience Choice” distinction. The films being selected to compete in each category will be screened with free entrance for the evening screenings from Saturday 21 to Monday 23 September at the ground foor of Mill of Pappas and the finalists movies will be screened at “Barbis Vozalis” open air cinema (entrance: 2 euros).
