Mill of Pappas is situated in 5′ walking distance from the central square of Larissa,right next to KTEL (intercity bus station), which connects directly the festival to the rest of Greece.
1. Main Building
This historic building-monument of 4 floors, is a daily shelter for artists, groups and artistic companies of Larissa, providing spaces for work, small performances, rehearsals and workshops, exhibitions and multipurpose events.
During summer, the Mill’s main yard hosts numerous concerts, performances, alternative open air festivals and important events of the cultural agenda of Thessaly, with a capacity of more than 2.000 people.
Home of “Thessaliko Theatre”, (municipal-regional theatre of Larissa), the Kostas Tsianos stage (former Millos Theatre) is the warmest and best equipped theatre stage of the city with a capacity of 160 people.
The favourite place for cinema lovers during summer, during the festival, Barbis Vozalis open air cinema becomes a multipurpose stage, for film and video screenings, online performances, music concerts and even after parties.
Home of the Municipal Ballet School of Larissa, this spacious stage is ideal for hosting contemporary and class dance performances, with a capacity of 120 people.
A small hidden courtyard, turned into an open-air theatre around and above the well of Mylos, and under the trees. With a capacity of 250 people, it is ideal for theatre plays and small concerts.
The stage of the municipal puppet theatre Tiritomba, with a capacity of 80 people, in addition to puppet shows, hosts storytelling and small space performances for young audiences.
Mylos 1929 is an established music scene. Together with Baraki tou Mylou on the other side of the yard, they can host concerts , stand-up and alternative performances.
