code bend time
Saturday 17th & Monday 19th of September
Time: 19:00-20:30*
Venue: Mill of Pappas, 2nd floor
Free entrance
The choreographer and performer, Evangelia Kolyra, returns to her city of origin and presents her work in Larissa for the first time, inviting the audience of the 9th Mill of Performing Arts to interact with her in two unique participatory performances, with the title of code bend time, on Saturday 17th and Monday 19th of September, at 19:00, at the 2nd floor of Mill of Pappas.
In code bend time, co-produced by the Onassis Cultural Center, Evangelia Kolyra physically reacts to the infinite variations of tone and timbre, carried by the voices of language that the performance’s audience utters. Variations in pronunciation are carried back to the speaker in the form of movements, as distinct as the voice to which they respond.
Code bend time is a participatory performance about the diversity of cultural elements, carried by movement and language.
*The public may enter and remain in the performance space as long as they wish, between 19:00 and 20:30, provided that the maximum number of people in the space is not exceeded.
