The show is the artistic result of the dance residency with Vasiliki Bara which took place in Larissa during the festival ”Mill of performing Arts 2024- Parallel”. During the six-day contemporary dance workshop (from 23 to 28 September 2024) amateurs, semi-professionals and professional dancers, with or without disabilities, had the chance to collaborate and create the thematic dance performance ”Lust for life” which focuses on the feeling of passion.

How is the feeling of passion expressed in our everyday life? What do we desire in our lives? What is it like to not be able to express our desire and passion for something? “Lust for Life” highlights the concepts of excitement, joy, freedom, enjoyment of life, and the lack of all of these.

The dance in “Lust for Life” is inspired by Grotesque aesthetics and is based on the movement exercises of the dance performance “Lust” (2023), which Vasiliki choreographed for LTT Company in Leipzig, Germany.
