The MPArt Festival is launching a new cycle of initiatives dedicated to the visibility, promotion, and networking of performing arts groups and companies from the Greek regions. Recognising the communication and collaboration gap that often exists among independent groups, the festival places at the heart of its mission the creation of a dynamic network that will enhance the exchange of knowledge, practices, and experiences, map needs and challenges, and open up new opportunities for cooperation and support.

The first regional meeting of groups and companies, held within the framework of the 12th MPArt Festival, marks the first step in this effort. This meeting initiates a process of systematic communication through annual in-person meetings, regular online exchanges, and the development of a shared database to support continuity and collaboration.

At the same time, the festival is committed to providing platforms for showcasing selected productions from the regions, inviting programmers and representatives of theatres and festivals from Greece and abroad. In addition, it undertakes the co-production of new works in collaboration with regional groups and other cultural organisations, premiering these creations within the festival.

In this way, MPArt reaffirms its role as a platform for visibility, empowerment, and opportunity-building for performing arts groups from across the Greek regions.

This inaugural two-day meeting will bring together 16 representatives of groups and companies from the Greek periphery.
