16 Jul MPArt 13 Festival Announces its Performances and Activities
The 13th edition of the MPArt Festival returns to Larissa from 11 to 27 September 2026, continuing its search for new ways of bringing people together through encounter, interaction and exchange in the performing arts.
This year’s festival is built around the theme BRIDGES.
Bridges that connect people and artistic practices.
Bridges between artists and audiences, ideas and eras, places and experiences.
Bridges that enable accessibility, coexistence and exchange.
Bridges that offer us a moment of elevation: a chance to look back at the path we have travelled and glimpse the direction we wish to take.
MPArt aspires to function both as a place of passage and a place to pause—a space where we can discover what is happening elsewhere, share our work, and enrich dialogues and narratives.
Following an international open call for artists and companies, the organisers of MPArt 13 have curated this year’s programme with a strong focus on decentralisation and the representation of artistic voices from across the Greek regions, while also presenting exciting contemporary works from abroad and Athens.
MPArt 13 – BRIDGES features theatre, dance, object theatre, slam poetry, interdisciplinary performances, short film screenings, workshops, and an artistic residency.
During the festival, the 2nd Gathering of Performing Arts Companies and Collectives from the Greek Regions will also take place, bringing together participants from Thessaly, the Aegean Islands, Crete, the Peloponnese and other parts of Greece.
