MPArt 2026 OPEN CALL

MPArt 2026 OPEN CALL

Open Call for MPArt Performing Arts Festival 2026

The MPArt Festival continues to explore ways of meeting, interacting and exchanging. In its 13th edition, which will take place from 11 to 27 September 2026 in Larissa, the selected theme is about BRIDGES.

  • Bridges that connect people and artistic practices.
  • Bridges between groups and audiences, ideas and eras, places and experiences.
  • Bridges that enable access, coexistence, and exchange.
  • Bridges that offer us a moment of elevation: to look back at the path we have taken and to discern where we wish to go next.

MPArt aims to function both as a place of passage and as a point of pause — a space where we can observe what is happening elsewhere, share our work, and enrich dialogues and narratives.

The organisers of the 13th MPArt Festival (Synergy of Music Theatre / SMouTh) issue an open call to artists and groups to submit proposals that suggest, establish, build, test, or strengthen bridges.

The call is open to proposals for theatre, dance, puppet theatre, music and interdisciplinary performances, contemporary performance, short films, exhibitions, and workshops in the performing arts. Special emphasis will be given to proposals originating from the Greek regions (outside Athens), to collaborative projects, and to works that promote accessibility and inclusion.

Proposals can be submitted online via the following link: https://mpart.gr/opencall*

Submission deadline: 20 February 2026

* Short films submissions (MPArt.OS section): https://filmfreeway.com/mpart
