Based on the play Sklavi by Xenia Kalogeropoulou, Roots Looking for Routes explores the deep bond between two siblings and the timeless journey in search of identity, freedom, and unconditional love.

Over the past year, the teenage group of Synergy of Music Theatre (SMouTh) has been working on the play, exploring their own roots and personal routes. In the final stage of this creative process, the teenagers meet a group of young peer coaches in theatre, dance, music and media from five organisations, members of the ROOTS & ROUTES International network, from Lithuania, Hungary, France, Germany and Greece.

Working intensively together for five days, they co-create the final outcome of a performance that brings to the forefront the power of collaboration, encounter and collective creation.

This collaboration takes place as part of the RRPCA 2.0 project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, in partnership with SMouTh and RRCGN (Cologne/DE), KITKC (Kaunas/LT), Empreinte (Lille/FR), SVF (Budapest/HU), CCC (Florence/IT) and Street Dance Center (Salzburg/AT).
