The project “Cosmic egg” by the aerial movement group Neque Statera (Patra) is about the evolution of the planet and especially of man’s presence in this planet. It is based on the thought that energy and matter are equivalent in quantity from the Big Bang until today and in this equilibrium the only thing that changes is the form of these two components. The performers go into a process of experimenting with the qualities of movement both on the ground and in the air, in order to express the different states that matter has experienced over the years. The images they form border on the concepts of evolution and birth. The main characteristics of the performance are the movement on the ground and in the air, as a different expression of dance theatre accompanied by music. The text of the performance projects a parallel action in relation to what unfolds on stage.
